Captain Brian Scott has over 24 years aviation and flying experience. He began his aviation career late in life only learning to fly at 35 years of age. In May of 1991 Brian joined Eagle Airways (Air New Zealand Link) where over the next 18 years he amassed over 12,000 hours of regional commercial flying in the demanding New Zealand all-weather conditions. He has over 10,000 hours Command experience on the Bandeirante, Metroliner and Beech 1900, 4000 hours of which is on the B1900. From an early point in his career at Eagle Airways, Brian was identified by the senior training staff to have the qualities necessary to become a company instructor and so was appointed as a Check and Training Captain, completing both ground and flight checking and training.
