Aviation Security Awareness (ASA)
Our Aviation Security Awareness course fulfils the CAA training requirements for all aviation personnel working in airport restricted zones.
It familiarises participants with the nature of the threat to aviation and basic security measures in place to counter the threat. It ensures they understand the core objectives and organisation of aviation security including the part that they can play in contributing to the security of the airport.
Our ASA course reflects the current climate and heightened threat levels that have become an every day part of the aviation industry. Some objectives of the course are:

- To enable the recognition of incendiary and explosive devices and their components;
- To increase awareness of the current threat to aviation;
- To understand and apply the correct precautions to reduce the threat of interference to aviation;.
- To gain knowledge of the procedures that should be adopted in the event of a breach of aircraft security.
