Core Instructional Technique (CIT)
Poor teaching techniques often dilute the content of a course thus wasting valuable time in the classroom, aircraft or simulator.
By learning more about how to effectively present lessons and the interaction between the instructor and students we can learn effective techniques to pass information to the student in the most stimulating way possible.
The first most important step to becoming an instructor is to learn and understand how to design, develop and conduct lessons including the best techniques to use when evaluating students for the particular subject. This course will give you the proper foundation to begin to build successful instructor techniques for any subject.
The main objectives of the course are:
- To understand how students learn;
- Develop presentation skills;
- Identify important factors in the learning environment;
- Practice teaching using a structured approach.
