Safety Management Systems (SMS)
A fully functioning Safety Management System control process centres on identifying hazards that are present, assessing the risk involved and then establishing and implementing actions to control those hazards before they result in an occurrence.
This course will walk you through the SMS risk control process using several examples to show how the SMS organisational components interact to accomplish this. Participants will learn that by using certain safety processes and tools how an effective SMS can be proactive and predictive in its approach to safety.
